DR. JAY PATEL
Dr. Jay Patel began his education in New Jersey at Rutgers University on an academic scholarship. From there, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and was exposed to many specialties in the dental field, but none drew his interest as much as anesthesiology. He continued his post-graduate education at NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn and trained at a Level 1 trauma center. During this time, Dr. Patel completed over 1500 cases involving all levels of anesthesia and treated a broad spectrum of patients; including those with complex medical histories.
Following his anesthesia residency, Dr. Patel became Board-Certified by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. This merit is achieved by completing both a written and oral exam administered by a panel of Dr. Patel’s peers. Dr. Patel is dedicated to upholding the highest standard of care in his field, and becoming board-certified was a testament to that standard.
Dr. Patel was born and raised in New Jersey and is now focused on serving the area he called home growing up. He works with dentists in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and is concentrated on delivering top quality and safe sedation services. Patients are screened preemptively to ensure that any potential complications can be anticipated and avoided. Dr. Patel hopes to usher in a new era of dentistry where fear can be eliminated from dental visits. He works with the pediatric population, special needs population, and severe dental phobics, where his skill set has proven invaluable.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel is an avid movie-goer, sports enthusiast, and enjoys traveling to new destinations with his family.

DR. AIDAN GALLAGHER
Dr. Aidan Gallagher began his education at the same institution he would later complete his training, the University of Pittsburgh. From there, he went on to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with the goal of becoming a pediatric dentist. Upon graduation, he was given an opportunity to pursue that goal at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children where he completed a 2-year residency in pediatric dentistry. As part of his residency at St. Christopher’s, Dr. Gallagher completed 100+ oral rehabilitation cases under general anesthesia in the operating room which helped him better understand the need for sedation and anesthesia services in dentistry. This led to him applying and being accepted to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry’s dentist anesthesiologist residency. During his anesthesia residency, Dr. Gallagher spent much of his time rotating between sedating dental patients at the University of Pittsburgh and anesthetizing patients for a wide variety of procedures in UPMC affiliated operating rooms.
Following his anesthesia residency, Dr. Gallagher is in the process of becoming Board-Certified. This involves completing both a written and oral exam, each offered once per year, administered by a panel of Dr. Gallagher’s peers. Dr. Gallagher is dedicated to upholding the highest standard of care in his field, and is excited for the opportunity to complete both of his board-certifications.
Dr. Gallagher was born and raised near Philadelphia and is excited to be serving the region where he grew up. He works with dentists in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is dedicated to delivering top quality and safe sedation services. Dr. Gallagher is committed to bringing the best of both aspects of his training to the office when he works with you or your child. His experience as a pediatric dentist and as a dentist anesthesiologist will ensure that you/your child’s experience is pleasant, safe, and seamless from the time you meet him to when you head home.
In his spare time, Dr. Gallagher loves to play board games, is always looking for live music to see, and enjoys exploring new restaurants in the city with his fiancée.
