Who We Are

At Dental Sedation Services, we provide high-quality, hospital-grade anesthesia services to general dentists and dental specialists in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and the New York metropolitan area. The anxiety that many patients experience when receiving dental care is significantly reduced when treated in a familiar environment. Our office-based anesthesia services make dentistry more accessible and affordable, while offering patients the convenience of receiving comprehensive dental care in their own dental practice.

Dr. Jay Patel, Dr. Aidan Gallagher, and Dr. Govani are specially trained to provide advanced dental anesthesia services in an ambulatory setting. Our doctors travel to the dental office with all of the necessary equipment. They utilize portable state of the art equipment for monitoring, as patient safety is paramount during dental sedation. Our team is knowledgeable in anesthesia for dental health and works closely with the treating dental office to coordinate care prior to the scheduled sedation appointment. Our practice is committed to providing an exceptional experience for every patient and dental practitioner, every time.

ADVANCEMENT OF ANESTHESIA
IN THE DENTAL OFFICE

Dental sedation has helped bridge the gap that existed between patients in need and dentists unable to overcome barriers to patient fear and anxiety. Pediatric patients no longer need to experience the numerous, often-traumatizing visits needed for dental treatment. Patients with special needs can now have comprehensive dental care in one visit. Any dental phobia at all -needles, drills, sounds, gag reflex - no longer stands in the way of obtaining necessary dental care.

Intravenous sedation and general anesthesia help relieve stress and apprehension from the dental visit. The type of anesthesia provided may range from a minimal sedation to general anesthesia, depending on the patient's health history and forthcoming dental procedure.
